Career Profile

I am a Research Scholar at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, co-advised by Dr. Dipanwita Roy Chowdhury and Dr. Satrajit Ghosh. My research interest focuses on various critical aspects of Cryptography and Security. Specifically, I am interested in designing of provably secure “Non-Malleable Codes”, security analysis of “Symmetric Ciphers”, “Private Set Intersection”, “Private Set Union”, “Private Information Retrieval” and it’s application in “Secure Multiparty Computation”, etc . My unique orchid id is 0000-0002-9328-3673 and the dblp computer science bibliography is dblp.

Experiences

Senior Research Fellow

2019 - 2025
Indian Institute of Techology Kharagpur, Kharagpur, West Bengal

Currently, I am pursuing my research under the supervision of Dr. Dipanwita Roy Chowdhury and Dr. Satrajit Ghosh. I have worked in the area of Tampering Resilient Cryptography and designed some provabily secure Non-malleable Codes (NMCs). Apart from that I have started how to reduce the computation and communication complexity of a two-party Private Set Intersection and Private Set Union Protocol in an efficient way.

Junior Research Fellow

2017 - 2019
Indian Institute of Techology Kharagpur, Kharagpur, West Bengal

I have explored various Fault attacks on AES algorithm and strenghtens the security of AES against single byte fault attack. Moreover, I have shown an implementation of the algorithm in different FPGAs with a negligible hardware overhead.

Software Quality Assurance Engineer (R&D)

2015 - 2017
Keysight Technologies formerly known as IXIA, Kolkata, West Bengal

Keysight (also known as IXIA) is a leading provider of performance test systems for IP-based infrastructure and services providing service to Equipment Manufacturers, Service Providers, Enterprises and Governments to test their network equipments and existing network infrastructure on a wide variety of parameters. It is Global Company having head office at CALABASAS, California and development centers at Romania and Kolkata, India.
